The Retreat, Catherine Hill Bay

Designed as a flexible guest house, rental or extension of the main residence, The Retreat makes an impressive amount of living from its compact footprint. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom dwelling was carefully planned to capture a beach view from every room, while generous storage, high ceilings and a considered coastal palette give the interiors a sense of space and comfort. V-board wall lining, a Hamptons-style kitchen, ducted air conditioning and kitchen servery windows add both character and functionality, while a wraparound deck extends the living outdoors. The result is a compact secondary dwelling that delivers the amenity and feel of a much larger home.
